apply valve, brake coolant valve, right brake adjust access cover,
and the output coupling that transfers power to the right final drive
are also contained in the right end cover assembly.

Left-End Cover Assembly.
This assembly is located on the left side of the center housing. It
covers the range gears, range pack, and hydrostatic gears.
This
assembly also contains the oil filter and filter cover, output shaft,
and a coupling which transfers power to the left final drive. Figure
1-9 illustrates the major components of the left-end cover assembly.
6.
Torque Converter Components.
The torque converter components are located on the front center
portion of the transmission. They are covered by the input housing.
The torque converter consists of three elements; the pump assembly,
the stator assembly, and the turbine assembly. The pump assembly is
driven by the engine through the flywheel.
The turbine assembly is
the output element of the torque converter.
The stator assembly is
the reaction (torque multiplying) element.
Figure 1-10 provides a
view of the input housing and the torque converter.
