cover assembly. This assembly is the main part of the transmission.
It houses all major transmission assemblies and channels oil to
various assemblies.
At the bottom of the transmission are drilled
and tapped bosses which are used to mount the transmission to the
maintenance stand.

housing, showing components of the left side and right side
respectively.
