Input Housing Assembly.
The input housing assembly is mounted to the front center portion of
the transmission center housing and covers the bevel gear assembly
and the hydrostatic pump and motor steer control assembly.
As
mentioned above, it also houses the torque converter components. The
input housing contains a port for the steer shaft, and the access
port for steering adjustment.
Figure 1-10 provides a view of the
input housing assembly.

Bevel Gear Assembly.
The bevel gear assembly is located behind the input housing assembly
and is mounted into the center housing assembly.
This assembly
contains the bevel gears which transfer power to the left and right
sides of the cross drive system. The input and output oil pumps are
housed in the bevel gear assembly and are driven by the bevel gear
assembly. Figure 1-11 illustrates the bevel gear assembly.

Center Housing Assembly.
This assembly is located in the center of the transmission, between
the right and left cover assemblies, and beneath the top
