SPLINED SHAFT REMOVAL.

Begin the installation procedures by lubricating a new preformed

packing with petrolatum.

Then slide the preformed packing in the

groove on the adapter.

After the preformed packing has been

installed, grease both ends of the splined shaft and insert one end

of the splined shaft into the generator drive on the generator.
