With the electrical leads disconnected, remove the four locknuts (8)

(figure 11 on the following page), and washers (9) from the studs

(10).

Discard the locknuts.

Now slide the generator (3) off the

studs and remove from the power take off (PTO) (7).

Once the

generator has been removed from the PTO, remove the splined shaft

(11) (figure 12 on the following page) from the generator drive (12)

in the generator (3).

Now remove the preformed packing (13) (figure 13 on the page 15) from

adapter (14) and discard the preformed packing.

This completes the generator removal procedures.
