M2/M3 BFV: HULL POWER DIST SYSTEM - OD1606 - LESSON 1/TASK 1
With the battery compartment covers and the electrical leads removed,
remove the four plugs (1) (figure 4) from the other four plugs (2) as
follows:
(1) Remove 1W1P2 from 1A2MT1P1 on battery number one (3).
(2) Remove 1W1P3 from 1A2MT1P2 on battery number two (4).
(3) Remove 1W1P4 from 1A2MT1P3 on battery number three (5).
(4) Remove 1W1P5 from 1A2MT1P4 on battery number four (6).

Remove battery holddown retainers.
Now remove the detector (7) (figure 5 on the following page) from the
battery (8) and install the cap (9).
With the battery holddown
retainer and the detector caps removed, carefully lift the batteries
out of the battery compartment and remove from the vehicle.
