CAUTION
Damage may result to the LD/R
internal
cavity
if
nitrogen gas is bled to fast.
Slowly open the vent valve counterclockwise (ccw) until escaping nitrogen is
no longer audible. Close the vent valve cw.
the high pressure cavity, ensure the input nitrogen
pressure to the gas
charging station is greater than 950 psig.
Open the
regulator tee handle
cw until the regulator pressure is 650 psig. Close the
connection valve ccw
and the regulator tee handle ccw.
WARNING
Nitrogen gas will escape from the vent valve during
the following step.
Escaping gas may blow dirt or
dust into the air. Do not point valve toward eyes or
body.
Slowly open the vent valve ccw until the regulator pressure gage reads 0
psig.

Slowly open the connection valve cw to depressurize the LD/R cavity.
Repeat the above procedure three times. Then conduct the fill by repeating
the procedure to the point of depressurizing the LD/R cavity.
With the
cavity pressurized, depressurize the gas charging assembly and disconnect.
Reinstall the valve access end cap on the LD/R check valve and torque to 6-8
inch-pounds. Replace the access cover and torque the cover screws to 5-6
