inch-pounds.  Record the data of the high pressure purge and fill on your DA

e. PFN V DC Adjustments.  The PFN V DC adjustment is a procedure you
conduct any time you replace the LD/R transceiver A2 or the power supply
card A1A1.  You use the fault locator and an external power source to adjust
the PFN output.
Figure 1-15 illustrates the test equipment setup and the
use  of the  external  power source with  the  EMI  filter.
The  following
paragraphs summarize the procedures for the PFN V DC adjustment.
CAUTION
Ensure  LD/R  POWER  switch  is  set  to  OFF  before
connecting  and  disconnecting  test  cable  connectors
W1P2 and W1P3 from LD/R connectors 1J1 and 1J4 to
avoid shorting pins.
NOTE:
Do not perform the PFN V DC adjustment unless directed to do so in
the repair procedures.
With the equipment set up as in figure 1-15, turn on and adjust the external
power source to +24 volts as read on the external power supply.
WARNING
In the next step, ensure LASER S1 switch is set to
INHIBIT before setting HVPS S8 switch to ENABLE to
prevent laser from firing.  Observe WARNINGS in figure
1-1 of this lesson before proceeding.
On the fault locator, set the LASER S1 switch to INHIBIT and the HVPS S8
switch to ENABLE.
NOTE:
In the next step, pull back the sleeving from wires and connect the
alligator clips to the pins.
On the LD/R transceiver assembly, connect a jumper wire from A2A2W1J1-19 to
A2A2W1J1-16.  On the front locator, perform the following:
