the question "do you have the STE test set," this block requires you
to set up and perform a self-test of the STE components before
proceeding any further.

n. Alternate Troubleshooting Procedure Block (2).
This block
gives separate troubleshooting procedures to use if you do not have
the STE test set.
This block refers you to a table that shows the
available alternate troubleshooting procedures, their location, and
tells you what action to take if an ATP does not exist for the fault
you must troubleshoot.

o. STE-M1 Test Block (3). This block gives you the correct test
number you must enter on the set communicator (SETCOM) and an example
of what the SETCOM should display. Once you have entered the correct
test number and pressed GO, follow the instruction displayed on the
SETCOM.
Remember to press GO after you have completed each
instruction message.
