Now he starts the engine and checks for air flow out of the compressor
discharge port. Since a large amount of air comes from the discharge
port, SGT Boyle connects line number 126 back to the air compressor,
and proceeds to step 6.

Step 6.
He checks the air governor for correct operation and proper
adjustment.
The air governor is operating correctly and is adjusted
properly, so he connects line number 159 back to the air governor and
proceeds to step 7.
Step 7.
SGT Boyle drains the air pressure and removes the air dryer
discharge line number 184 (figure 38 on the following page). He starts the
engine and allows the air pressure to build-up. Once the pressure has built
up, he checks for air flow from the air dryer discharge port. Since there
was a large amount of air flowing from the air dryer discharge port, he
moves on to the next step.
