MAINTENANCE OF THE HEMTT - OD1662 - LESSON 1/TASK 2
Step 5.
Now SGT Elliott checks the neutral safety switch quick
disconnects for looseness and damage. The neutral safety switch quick
disconnects did not appear to be loose or damaged, so she moves on to
step 6.
Step 6.
In this step SGT Elliott checks the neutral safety switch
for 22 to 28 volts at the input terminal. Since she again received a
voltage indication of 25.5 volts, she proceeds to step 7.
Step 7.
Now SGT Elliott cheeks the ENGINE START switch for loose or
damaged connections. Since the connections are in good shape and not
loose, she moves on to the next step.
Step 8.
This step directs SGT Elliott to check the ENGINE START
switch for 22 to 28 volts at the BAT terminal with the ENGINE switch
OFF (figure 27). She received a voltage indication of 25.5 volts and,
therefore, proceeds to the next step.
FIGURE 27.
ENGINE START SWITCH.
Step 9.
She checks the ENGINE START switch for 22 to 28 volts at
the ST terminal (figure 27) with the ENGINE START switch set to the
START position.
Again, SGT Elliott received a voltage indication of
25.5 volts; therefore, she will go on to step 10.
Step 10.
number 5 for 22 to 28 volts.
Since she did receive a voltage
indication of 25.5 volts, she proceeds to the next step.
