Step 4.
Disconnect the negative battery cable and the protective
control box cannon plugs; then reconnect the negative battery cable.
Now check for voltage at pin E of the engine harness protective
control box cannon plug.
If voltage is not present, repair the
engine wiring harness, following the procedures in paragraph 4-62 of
the TM.
If the wiring harness is not repairable, notify IDS
maintenance. If voltage is present, check the continuity at lead 11A
from the rotary switch to the body harness protective control box
cannon plug pin G, and from the light switch cannon plug pin F to the
body harness protective control box cannon plug pin F. If continuity
is present, replace the protective control box, following the
procedures in paragraph 4-5 of the TM. If continuity is not present,
replace the body wiring harness, following the procedures found in
paragraph 4-62 of the TM.
