WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER SYSTEM
SCHEMATIC.
Step 2.
Disconnect lead 57D from the washer motor.
Using a
multimeter, check for continuity between lead 57D and ground.
If
continuity is not present, repair the body wiring harness following
the procedures in paragraph 4-62, page 4-110 of the TM.
If the
harness cannot be repaired, notify IDS/IGS maintenance.
Step 3.
Disconnect lead 71C from the washer motor and, using a
multimeter, check for battery voltage at lead 71C by placing the
rotary switch in the RUN position and holding the washer switch in.
If battery voltage is present, replace the washer motor following the
procedures in paragraph 10-49, page 10-73 of the TM.
If battery
voltage is not present, check wire 71C at the washer motor to 71C at
the wiper motor for continuity. If continuity is not present, repair
the body wiring harness following the procedures in paragraph 4-62,
page 4-110 of the TM.
If the wiring harness cannot be repaired,
notify IDS/IGS maintenance.
