Introduction
The last three tasks have described the M88A1 series recovery vehicle; the
operation of components of the suspension system; the procedures for track,
sprocket, and roadwheel classification; and the construction, components,
maintenance,  repair,  adjustment,  and  troubleshooting  of  various  M88A1
systems, to include the cooling, fuel, exhaust, and air intake systems.  The
next
task
will
describe
the
construction,
maintenance,
operation,
capabilities, repair, and troubleshooting of the M88A1 auxiliary power unit
(APU)  (refer  back  to  figure  26,  view  A,  on  page  55).
The  following
paragraphs describe these procedures.
