Transmission Hydraulic Circuits.
The following paragraphs describe the various hydraulic circuits used
to operate the X1100-3B transmission.
force serves as the main controlling factor for main pressure,
lockup, brake apply, and reverse pressure also affect it.
transmission applies lockup pressure at the regulator valve, main
pressure is regulated at a lower pressure. Applying brake apply and
reverse pressure to the bottom of the regulator valve causes main
pressure to be regulated at a higher pressure.
From the main
pressure regulator valve, main pressure goes to the following
components of the transmission hydraulic system:
Signal main regulator.
Forward and reverse valve body.
Electric brake lube valve.
Brake apply regulator.
