1.
Purge and fill pressure vessel as described in part B.
Fault Locator

Press automatic relief valve on the cover to equalize the pressure.
3.
Loosen the four wing nuts.
4.
Push the four cover clips down and out to clear the lip.
5.
Remove and invert the cover.

Set the following switches as indicated:
HVPS S8
INHIBIT
LASER S1
INHIBIT
LASER START/ON/OFF S9
OFF
PRESET RANGE S6
OFF
POWER S2
OFF

7.
Press two inner lid clips on center and pull on outer clip to open
for cables. Remove the test cable W1 and the power cable W2.

8.
Set the power switch to off.

9.
Remove output lens cover.
10.
Look into the transceiver output lens and read the count on the
EVENTS X 100 counter. Note the count for use during the designating
test.
11.
Install the output lens cover.
