WARNING
In the following steps, you are going to look into the
output lens of the LD/R transceiver. Even though all
power has been turned off, be sure to wear eye
protection when looking into the transceiver.
Wait at least three minutes after disconnecting the
power (battery, fault locator, shop external power,
and/or EMI filter if previously connected) before
looking into the transceiver.

Connect test cable connector W1P1 to connector J1.
13.
Connect power cable W2 (female) to POWER connector J2.
14.
Connect power cable W2 to 115 VAC three-wire outlet.
LD/R
CAUTION
Ensure that the LD/R POWER switch is set to OFF before
connecting test cable connectors W1P2 and W1P3 to the
LD/R connectors 1J1 and 1J4 to avoid shorting pins.
15.
Connect test cable connector W1P2 to Connector 1J1.
16.
Connect test cable connector W1P3 to connector 1J4.
17.
Pull and hold battery release pin.
18.
Engage the EMI filter with the battery pivot bracket.
19.
Rotate the EMI filter connector 2P1 into the battery connector.
