c. Equipment Set AN/UAS-12. The equipment set AN/UAS-12 used with the
G/VLLD provides 24-hour-a-day effectiveness. It allows the G/VLLD to locate
and designate targets in total darkness and/or in poor visibility
conditions. The equipment set AN/UAS-12 includes the following items (see
figure 1-7):
