G/VLLD, Major Units.
f. Tripod/TU Backpack.
Always use this backpack to transport the
tripod and TU.
It provides protective cover, storage, field
transportation, and is used to evacuate the equipment to the direct
support unit for repair. The back-pack also stores a spare battery for
the G/VLLD.
In addition, the G/VLLD comes with an ancillary equipment transit
assembly case that contains the following equipment to support G/VLLD
operations: three spare batteries, an attenuator
