Tube Assemblies (Forward Reduction
Remove the Tube Assembly (Oil Pump Return to Oil Cooler - Forward).
Unscrew the tube nut (3) from the nipple (4); at the other end of
the tube assembly, unscrew the tube nut (6) from the nipple (7) and
remove the flared conical seal (5) (fig. 1-31).
NOTE:
Cut off any tie-down straps, as needed, to remove the tube assembly.
Remove the tube assembly (1) for the oil pump (8) and the filter
element (2) from the nipple (7) (fig. 1-31).
Remove the Tube Assembly (Electromechanical Fuel System to the
Bottom of the Inlet Guide Vane Actuating Cylinder). To remove this
tube assembly, you remove the self-locking nut (2) and screw (3)
from the loop clamp (4), and remove the clamp from the tube (1).
Then disconnect the tube nut (5) from the tube (6), and remove the
flared conical seal (7) (fig. 1-32).
Disconnect the tube nut (8) from the adapter
(9), remove the flared
conical seal (10), and move the tube (11) to
the side. Then, using
a 11/16-inch crowfoot wrench, disconnect the
tube nut (12) from the
adapter (13) and remove the tube assembly (1)
and the flared conical
seal (14) (fig. 1-32).
