tends to reseat the sleeve to provide an effective seal. Overtightening the
coupling nut deforms the sleeve and leads to line failure.
Step 3.
Using a 3/4 inch open end wrench, tighten the fuel supply line
fitting at the injector nozzle end (figure 24, view B, on page 50). After
tightening the high pressure fuel supply lines and/or return lines, an
engine fuel leakage check must be performed.
Steps 4 through 7 below
describe the procedure for the performance of this
leakage test.
