(1) Engine Compartment Top Deck.
The engine compartment top deck
contains a series of grille doors (3 through 8, 18 through 25, and 27
through 29) (figure 9) which admit the outside air for cooling the engine
compartment components during operation.
These doors are attached to the
top deck of the engine compartment by bolts, hinges, and latches.
