protrudes over the sprocket tooth as shown in figure 8, view A.
Visually check to ensure that the sprocket tooth edge contour extends beyond
the edge of the gage. (The bottom of the notches on the gage indicate the
maximum limits of sprocket wear.) If the edge on both sides of the sprocket
tooth falls behind the gage, the sprocket must be replaced. If the edge on
one side of the sprocket tooth falls beyond the edge of the gage and the
opposite side of the
