Procedural Steps for Unloading/Stowing 25mm AP Ammo.
Step 1.
Remove the AP link eject chute from the 25mm gun feeder.
Step 2.
Unload the AP ammo from the 25mm gun feeder.
Step 3.
Traverse turret to the AP load position (2150 mils).
These procedures,
when needed, can be found on page 2-152 of TM 9-2350-252-10-2.
Step 4.
Set the turret travel lock.
These procedures, when needed, can be
found on page 2-141 of TM 9-2350-252-10-2.
Step 5.
Move the TURRET DRIVE SYSTEM switch to OFF.
Step 6.
Move the TURRET POWER switch to OFF.
Step 7.
Open the turret shield door.
These procedures, when needed, can be
found on page 2-139 of TM 9-2350-252-10-2.
Step 8.
Remove the AP ammo can door by turning the handle to the right.
Then
remove the AP ammo can door from the AP ammo can.
WARNING
A cartridge explosion
could kill or injure soldiers.
Handle ammo with care.
Do not bump primers against any
hard surface.
Step 9.
Unload the AP ammo from the AP feed chute by placing a 14mm ratchet
wrench on the shaft of the AP forwarder, with the wrench handle to the
