Introduction
The simplified test equipment STE-M1/FVS is a sophisticated piece of equipment. It
is a valuable tool for testing components of the Bradley fighting vehicle fire
control and turret system.
An understanding of how to set up and use the STE-
M1/FVS is required in order to perform the five turret system tests described in
the next two tasks of this lesson.
This task will introduce the components of the STE-M1/FVS test equipment. It also
describes the procedures for hooking up the STE-M1/FVS to the Bradley fighting
vehicle, and for performing the self-test which is required before the test set can
be used for vehicle testing.
