Introduction
As well as test 2733, the STE-M1/FVS test set is used to perform test
2730 on the integrated sight unit (ISU) displays and controls. This
test checks the range dial and the range display when HE, AP, and CR
7.62 are selected.
It also tests for improper weapon and TOW
eyepiece displays.
A test is made on the gun reticle, the TOW
reticle, and the reticle brightness control. The panel light dimmer
and ISU magnification are checked, along with a check for proper TOW
mode eyepiece displays.
This task covers the procedure for using the STE-M1/FVS test set to
perform test 2730 on the ISU controls and displays.
