Second Requirement
When boresighting the 25mm gun, a number of control settings must be
made before the boresight telescope and adapter are installed in the
gun barrel.
Provide the correct setting for each control listed
below:
a.
TURRET POWER switch
b.
RANGE CONTROL knob
c.
MAG (magnification) switch
d.
SENSOR SELECT switch
e.
TURRET TRAVERSE DRIVE SELECT lever
f.
GUN ELEVATION DRIVE SELECT lever
g.
TOW ELEVATION DRIVE SELECT lever
h.
ARM/SAFE/RESET switch

Third Requirement
You are about to boresight the last Bradley fighting vehicle night
sight to day sight and it begins to snow. The visibility is only 300
meters.
You decide to use the buddy system to boresight the night
sight to day sight on this vehicle, To begin the procedure, two
vehicles are positioned facing each other at an appropriate distance;
the TURRET POWER and NIGHT VISION PWR switches are turned ON on both
vehicles. When AP SS is pressed, AP appears on the status indicator.
The remaining steps in the buddy boresighting procedure are listed
below.
However, they are listed in the wrong order.
Place these
steps in their correct order.
a.
Align the elevation and azimuth crosshairs of the gun reticle on
the boresight lamp of the buddy vehicle.
b.
Check the alignment of the gun reticle on the thermal resistor
of the buddy vehicle, and align the elevation and azimuth crosshairs
as needed.
c.
Move the SENSOR SELECT switch to NIGHT.
