(9) Next, the elevation crosshair in the boresight reticle is
aligned on the aiming point of the target. Again, the machinegun may
have to be moved in elevation using the EL knob to achieve alignment.
If the reticle cannot be boresighted, perform troubleshooting
procedures as outlined in TM 9-2350-252-20-2-1, chapter 3.
(10) Once the reticle has been aligned in azimuth and elevation,
the boresight telescope and adapter should be removed.
To do this,
gently pull the boresight telescope from the boresight adapter. Then
pull the boresight adapter and red streamer from the machinegun
barrel. Remove the red streamer from the adapter.
(11) Close the coaxial machinegun access doors (TM 9-2350-252-
10-2, page 2-172).

Conclusion
Once this procedure has been successfully completed, the 7.62mm
coaxial machinegun is boresighted. In the next task, we will look at
