(7) Open the coaxial machinegun access doors (TM 9-2350-252-10-
2, page 2-172).
This will allow access to the coaxial machinegun
boresight knobs.
(8) The azimuth crosshair of the boresight reticle must now be
aligned on the target aiming point (figure 18 on the previous page).
To do this, it may be necessary to move the machinegun to the right
or left using the AZ (azimuth) knob (figure 19).
To move the
machinegun to the right, the AZ knob is turned back toward the
operator. To move the machinegun to the left, the AZ knob is turned
forward, away from the operator.
If the reticle cannot be
boresighted, troubleshooting procedures must be performed to isolate
and correct the problem.
Troubleshooting procedures are located,
when required, in TM 9-2350-252-20-2-1, chapter 3.
