Connect the cable negative (-) wire to terminal E2.

At terminals E2 and E3 (23), apply from 0.02 to 0.08 inch
thickness of staking compound on all the conductors
joined.

Seat the strain relief bushing in the cable support box.

Apply sealing compound to the three screws.
--
Put the cable support cover on the support box and secure
with the three screws.
3-47. ACA O-ring removal/replacement.
Removal.
Work the O-ring (16) out of its slot in the cap
(15).
Replacement.

Use soft tissue and clean the slot for the O-ring in the
cap.
--
Apply a thin film of silicon compound to the O-ring. Wipe
the O-ring nearly dry with a clean lintless cloth.
--
Work the O-ring into its slot in the cap.

Test Set, follow the procedures specified in the applicable Army
technical manual.
