The AC power cable assembly (1) connects to the PWR 115 V 50-420 Hz
connector (2) to provide power to operate the LR Tester. The PWR ON
indicator (red)(3) lights when power is applied. The ON/TRIPPED OFF
LASER OUTPUT NORMAL indicator (green)(5) and LASER OUTPUT LOW
indicator (red)(6) monitor the LR pulse output power.
The RESET
push-button (8) resets the LASER OUTPUT NORMAL or LASER OUTPUT LOW
indicators.
The alignment bracket assembly (9) provides the correct alignment
between the LR and the LR Tester. The shroud, optical (7) prevents
laser light leakage when the LR is mounted.
The adapter cable
assembly (16) connects the direct current (DC) power source to
operate the LR being tested.
GND terminal (10) provides a common
ground connection.
The MODE switch (11) is a five position rotary switch which selects
the type of optical pulse transmission when the LR is being tested.
The MODE switch positions are:
1 TGT - Transmits a single optical pulse to the LR for each
pulse received.
2 TGT - Transmits a pair of optical pulses to the LR for each
pulse received.
RCVR 1 PULSE - Allows optical pulses to be transmitted to the
LR.
RCVR 2 PULSE - Allows
a
pair
of
optical
pulses
to
be
transmitted to the LR.
LASER PULSE MONITOR - Allows monitoring the LR output at the
LASER PULSE connector.
The LASER PULSE connector (12), the RCVR SYNC PULSE connector (13),
and the TGT SYNC PULSE connector (14) provide a means to monitor the
indicated signal for testing and troubleshooting.
(15) automatically balances internal and external air pressure.
