This test equipment is used to test a rangefinder containing a pulse
(Q-switched) Neodymium YAG laser transmitter. Severe eye damage may
result if the rangefinder is fired in an unauthorized area or at flat
vicinity of a laser firing must obtain an eye examination by an
ophthalmologist to be sure no eye damage has been done.
Eye protection:
Medical surveillance is required for maintenance personnel as stated
in paragraph 1-5d(6), AR 40-46.
