not the TEST light comes ON with the system configured in this way.
Only the steps that result when the TEST light does come ON will be
explored.
(2) Assume that PFC Elrond notes that the TEST light does come
ON.
In this case, he must now run a test on fire sensor MT2 by
performing these steps:
(a) He
moves
the
FIRE
SUPPRESSION
switch
to
the
AUTO
position.
(b) PFC Elrond then moves the SOURCE SIMULATOR switch on the
source simulator to the DUAL position.
(c) Next, he places the source simulator in front of the fire
sensor MT2. He understands it is important to maintain the alignment
of the source simulator on the sensor during the test.
(d) PFC Elrond presses the TEST button and notes that the
TEST light is ON. He holds the source simulator in place until the
TEST light turns OFF.
