align
the
boresighting reticle on the aiming point.
b. Boresighting the 7.62mm Coaxial Machinegun.
Before starting
the specific boresighting procedure, observe these warnings:
WARNING
Accidental
firing
of
the
7.62mm
coaxial
machinegun may result in death or injury.
Make
sure  that  the  ARM-SAFE-RESET  switch  is  in  the
SAFE  position.
Clear  and  unload  the  coaxial
machinegun before boresighting.
WARNING
Never look at the sun through the ISU; doing so
could cause blindness.
(1) To  begin  the  boresighting  procedure  for  the  coaxial
machinegun, press the 7.62 button on the weapon control box (figure
14).
The LO AMMO indicator light will flash when this button is
pressed.
