Conclusion
In this task we covered what troubleshooting is and the basic steps
involved in all troubleshooting.
We discussed the troubleshooting
procedures for certain malfunctions in both the mechanical and
electrical systems on the M939 FOV. These troubleshooting procedures
used a wide variety of methods for solving system malfunctions. Some
simply involved visual inspection; others required the use of
sophisticated test equipment such as the STE/ICE test set to locate
the cause of the malfunction.
The troubleshooting procedures
presented in this subcourse are not inclusive, they are merely
representative of the many and varied malfunctions that may occur in
this family of vehicles.
On the pages following this task is a practical exercise designed to
test your retention of the knowledge of the material presented in
this subcourse.
