(2) Purpose of the Vehicle.
M931 and M932 tractor trucks are
equipped with a fifth wheel used to haul a semitrailer with loads up
to 37,000 pounds cross-country and 55,000 pounds on the highway.
Each vehicle is also equipped with a pintle hook for hauling eye-hook
trailer loads up to 15,000 pounds cross-country and 30,000 pounds on
the highway. The M932 tractor truck is equipped with a front winch.
This feature makes it more versatile in tactical operations under
difficult field conditions.
