Subtraction
Rule 1. First write the numbers so that the decimal points fall under each
other.
Subtract as in whole numbers.
Write the decimal point of the
remainder directly under the other decimal points.
EXAMPLE
Subtract 46.8324 from 437.421.
Write the number down as in ordinary
subtraction. Be sure to place the decimal points directly under each other.
