(1) Clean the metal parts with clean wiping rags to remove dust,
dirt, grease, moisture, or other foreign matter.
Use a brush to loosen
foreign matter from around knobs and indicators. If you cannot remove the
foreign matter with dry wiping rags, dampen with isopropyl alcohol and
gently wipe the area.
