1.
C.
All the components used in a circuit may not be on the
same sheet.
show all components of circuit on one sheet. Therefore, you
cannot use these diagrams for point-to-point connections.
(page 2, para 3)
2.
C.
Maintenance monitor.
When the find and sheet has the shape of an octagon, it
indicates a maintenance monitor continues on another sheet.
These diagrams use three different shapes for find and sheet
numbers. The other two shapes are: (1) circular, indicating
a working circuit continues; (2) square, indicating a lamp
monitor circuit continues. (page 4, para 5)
3.
D.
Component assembly.
The diagrams use two connector designations, "P" and "J." When
a connector attaches to an electrical assembly it has the
designation "J." When a connector attaches to a wire harness
it the designation "P." (page 5, para 4)
4.
Of the four choices given, A and C both indicate male pin
connectors and B indicates a terminal board. The symbol shown
as D indicates a female pin connector. If a symbol looks like
a pin will go into it, the symbol represents a female pin
connector. The diagram uses both symbols, male and female pin
connectors, in conjunction with both wire harnesses and
electrical assemblies. (page 6, para 1)
