Prioritization Regulating Valve (Dual Pressure)(fig. 1-4).
You find the prioritization regulating valve in the main engine
compartment connected to a port on the compressor of the engine. The
outlet of this valve connects, using two clamps, to the duct leading
to the sponson area.
The prioritization regulating valve has an
arrow on the case indicating the direction of airflow from the
source. A large actuator protrudes from a linkage box mounted on the
valve case.

Operation (fig. 1-5).
The prioritization regulating valve
has pneumatic actuation and electrical control and uses
spring pressure for its closing action.
This valve
functions as both a shut-off and as a pressure regulating
valve.
