Introduction
The 4000 pound capacity rough-terrain forklift is another vehicle
developed to lift, move, and transport supplies and equipment from
one point to another point. This vehicle is designed to operate over
rough terrain with primarily the same characteristics as the 6000
pound forklift. To ensure operational effectiveness, each crew chief
and operator should be familiar with the operating procedures, use,
care, and the maintenance procedures of the 4000 pound rough-terrain
forklift.

Operation of the 4000 Pound Forklift

Purpose.
The purpose of the 4000 pound forklift is to handle,
transport, and stock materials while operating over various types of
terrain.
