c. Troubleshooting Sample. In the following paragraphs, we will walk
step-by-step through sample troubleshooting procedures, as each step would
be performed on the vehicle. These samples will deal with troubleshooting
the firing port vent fans, power train system troubleshooting, and the brake
system.
To make this a little more interesting to read, we will have a
fictional individual perform the procedures while we watch over his shoulder
to see how it is done. In the following paragraphs, references to the TM
refer to TM 9-2350-252-20-1-1, unless otherwise stated.
(1) Firing Port Vent Fans Troubleshooting - IFV Only.
In the
following paragraphs, we will only follow those troubleshooting pathways
that lead us to the conclusion NO FAULTS FOUND.
It should be noted here
that we are going to follow only one of many troubleshooting pathways.
