In the third example, he found a
malfunction and a cause for that malfunction.
He was then directed to
correct the malfunction and repeat the troubleshooting procedures to ensure
that the malfunction was corrected and that no additional malfunctions
existed.
In the second troubleshooting sample, SSG Taylor found a
malfunction, but he was not directed to repair it. Instead, he was directed
to write the malfunction up on DA Form 2404 and to notify his supervisor.

Conclusion
In this task, the techniques of logical troubleshooting and the use of these
techniques to inspect and troubleshoot the vehicle were discussed. Also, we
briefly mentioned the DA Form 2404. The next task will cover the procedures
for diagnosing malfunctions and for completing DA Form 2404.
