The LAMP TEST position
(down) turns on all the indicator lights in the turret for a bulb check.

TOW ABORT Switch. The TOW ABORT switch causes the TOW missile wire to be
cut so that the missile aborts.
(7)
OPEN HATCH.
Annunciator light on indicates open driver's or cargo hatch
cover.
(8)
BACK UP PWR.
Annunciator light on indicates firing control system is
operating on emergency batteries and that the turret drive system cannot operate
electrically.
(9)
NO FIRE ZONE.
Annunciator light on indicates weapon(s), if fired, is
(are) in a position that could damage the vehicle.
Triggers do not work if the
annunciator light is on.
(10)
MANUAL DRIVE.
Annunciator light on indicates a select lever is in the
MANUAL mode.
(11)
DRIVE MALF.
Annunciator
light
on
indicates
the
drive
system
is
malfunctioning.

Commander's Handstation.
(1)
Commander's Control Handle.
The commander's control handle controls the
turret elevation, traverse, the 25mm gun, the coax machinegun, and the TOW missile
systems.
It also overrides the gunner's control handles when the palm switch is
squeezed, if the TOW missile is not in flight.
(2)
Palm Switch.
The palm switch activates the turret drive, releases the
turret drive brakes, and arms the trigger switch.
(3)
Fast Turret Switch.
The fast turret switch increases the speed of the
turret traverse and weapon elevation.
(4)
Trigger Switch.
The trigger switch, when depressed, fires the 25mm gun,
the coax machinegun, or the TOW missile.
(5)
Drift Button.
The
drift
button
reduces
the
drift
in
the
turret
stabilization system.
