This part of the lesson shows location and reference designators of
the assemblies and components of the LR Test Set.

external and internal parts location.

NOTE:
Optical pulses transmitted by the LR Tester are from a low
level light source.
The MODE switch S1 (figure 1-9, item 17) is a five position rotary
switch that selects the type of optical pulse transmission when the
LR is being tested. The five modes are:
1 TGT mode - The LR Tester transmits a single optical pulse
for each received optical pulse to test the LR ranging
function.
2 TGT mode - The LR Tester transmits a pair of optical pulses
for each received optical pulse to test the LR multiple target
function.
RCVR 1 PULSE mode - The LR Tester generates and transmits
optical pulses at a rate of 50 PPS.
