the engine stops and then returns to neutral.
For operation under
emergency conditions without electrical power, manually shift the
transmission to forward.
i. Towing.
When towing the vehicle, tow it forward at speeds
less than 15 mph. In an emergency, you can tow the vehicle backward,
but no more than 1/4 of a mile. If towing the vehicle faster than 15
MPH or if the transmission has damage, you must disconnect the final
drives to prevent further damage.
