(7) M985E1 Cargo Truck W/ and W/O Winch (figure 8 on the following
page). The M985E1 cargo truck has a GVWR of 58,000 lb and a GCWR of
100,000 lb.
The vehicle is equipped with a material handling crane
which has a 5400 lb load capacity at a boom radius of 16.5 ft. With a
boom radius of 20.5 ft, the crane's load capacity drops to 4500 lb.
The maximum reach for the crane in the knuckle position (inner boom
10 - 15 above the horizontal and the outer boom horizontal) is 20.5
ft.
