Hydraulic
System
Operation.
As
previously
mentioned, a front winch is installed on the M935, M926, M928, M930,
M932, and M936 model vehicles.
The front winch hydraulic system
motor.
The major components of this system are:
(1) Transmission Power Takeoff Control (figure 10).
A manually
operated control lever located inside the cab that permits engagement
or disengagement of the transmission power takeoff (PTO).

SYSTEM COMPONENTS.
(2) Winch Control Lever (figure 10).
An operator control that
determines the hydraulic oil pressure flow from the control valve to
the winch motor. The flow of this oil determines the direction the
winch drum will turn.
(3) Transmission Power Takeoff (PTO).
Uses driving power of the
transmission to provide mechanical driving power for the hydraulic
pump.
