(3) Performance.
Fully loaded the M923 and M925 dropside cargo
trucks can achieve a maximum speed of 54 mph. They will climb road
grades as steep as 23 with maximum bed and trailer loads.

Without loads, they will handle grades up to 34.
The vehicles
can ford hard-bottom water crossings up to 30 inches without
a deepwater fording kit and 78 inches with the kit.
The maximum
cruising range with fully loaded beds and trailers is 300 miles.
Without trailers, the vehicles cover 350 miles per tank of fuel. The
