Disconnect the power cable W2 from the 115 VAC three-wire outlet.

Disconnect the power cable (female) from the power connector J2.

Disconnect test cable connector W1P1 from connector J1.

Insert the power cable W2 and the test cable W1 into the fault
locator cover.
Close the inner lid and press the two inner lid
clips to secure the inner lid shut.
18.
Install the cover and engage the four cover clips to secure the
cover.
LD/R Transit Case

Insert the LD/R into the transit case.
Tripod/TU

Insert the tripod/TU into the transit case.

Troubleshooting the Traversing Unit.
Although the TU is much less complex than the LD/R, it may also require
maintenance at the direct support level.
The following table lists some
common failures that occur in the TU.
Figure 1-17 is the TU resolver fault troubleshooting table.
